We are a group of singers from the greater Sacramento area who are dedicated to the advancement of choral music. Established in 1982, the singers delight, challenge, and inspire their audiences with seasons programmed to include premieres, classics, and a wide variety of musical periods and styles.

read moreOur Judges Commendation Award is designed for applicants who show vocal talent and promise, but lack the needed one-on-one vocal training to show their abilities in the best light. If you have had limited private vocal training, you qualify for this award. If you would like to be considered for this award, please mark as such on the application. One applicant from each age category may be awarded two hours of private vocal lessons from a member of the Sacramento Master Singers. Winners have until October 1st, 2020 to complete their complimentary voice lessons.

We are well aware of the effort involved in preparing for, and the stress in accomplishing an audition, but we trust that the experience was a positive one that will contribute to your musical development. All awards winners - please submit a headshot photo in a large enough format for a video screen as soon as possible (1024 x768 pixels is optimal). Email to scholarships@mastersingers.org. We may also be using a few seconds of your scholarship video in the awards presentation.

Regular auditions are not taking place until we are able to perform again in a traditional manner. Generally, auditions for new members in Sacramento Master Singers are held at least twice each summer between seasons. Announcements regarding auditions are shared on our Facebook page, on our website and via Constant Contact email blasts. Remember to add your name to our mailing list if you'd like to be kept informed about our next scheduled auditions.
