San Diego Sol held its 1st player assessment in March 2002. Since that date we currently have expanded to become the biggest girls basketball program in San Diego having worked with 1000's of athletes through our teams, camps, clinics, leagues and tournaments. San Diego Sol is an all encompassing basketball club in the greater San Diego area. We supply basketball opportunities for athletes of all abilities and skill levels. Our year-round basketball program enables us to work with athletes as young as 7 years old and all the way up to senior citizens.

read moreFrom our genesis as a women's travel team in 1997, San Diego Sol has grown into a comprehensive basketball club, primarily serving boys and girls 5-18 years of age. We offer year-round camps, clinics and teams (grades K-2nd, grades 3rd-8th and high school); and we host leagues and tournaments for players of all levels and abilities. At San Diego Sol, we understand that participation in sports is a vehicle to teach lifelong lessons and values to young people. We run our programs and events with integrity and professionalism, striving to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for players, coaches and spectators alike.
Youth Teams
read moreWe offer 3 levels of youth teams to accommodate all abilities and skill levels. All players who tryout are placed on one of our teams - ACADEMY team, LOCAL team or TRAVEL team. More team details are listed below. When you register for tryouts please let us know what level of team you are trying out for. Placement onto a Travel team is not guaranteed but all players are eligible to make our Academy and Local teams. Winter tryouts for boys and girls will be January 11, 2021. You will receive tryout times on your registration receipt.
