As a fraternal organization, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) has a distinguished history and a reputation for countless and continuing humanitarian endeavors. Odd Fellows started in the US in the early 1800's, during a time of great migration that eventually manifested into today's 20, 000 Lodges and more than one million members. The Santa Rosa Lodge founded the Santa Rosa Odd Fellows Cemetery (Mausoleum) in 1885, added a lawn cemetery in 1918, the modern Santa Rosa Memorial Park in 1955, and a mortuary in 2003.

Services are limited to a total of 20 (twenty) attendees plus celebrant, cemetery staff and funeral home staff.
