Our store was initially operated by Jim Scimonetti, a local musical talent well-known for both his outgoing personality and electrifying performances on saxophone, clarinet and flute. In the late 1990's, Jim had been repairing and customizing woodwinds as a side job for a few close friends and at the urging of his son, and with the aid of his wife and other family members, Jim opened the business under the name Jim Scimonetti Woodwind and Brass Repair in 2002. The location was 701 West Ave. K, Lancaster, California.
