When he initially opened the company his primary objective was to service "marine electronics" on commercial ships and vessels that docked at North Carolinas State Ports in Wilmington. Paul's reputation for honest, dependable sales and service spread throughout the Ports community and at their urging he expanded Sea Coast and became the 1st company to provide an 800 mhz trunked radio system in the area that is still in operation today.
