Millions of families across the nation have shopped at and enjoyed the large variety and low prices Service Merchandise Catalog Show Rooms offered them for decades. The original chain of Service merchandise stores was established by the Zimmerman Family in 1934 and at its peak, 400+ stores provided $4 Billion Dollar$ worth of fine jewelry and presents annually to loyal clients spread out across 37 states. Eventually the catalog showroom concept yielded to the big box super discounters and Service Merchandise was forced to close all of their retail stores.
