The mission of the Shalom Health Care Center. Shalom) is helping families meet their requirements through affordable and accessible health care. Shalom supplies primary health care services, including acute and chronic health care services, from a primary care center situated on the Northwest side of Indianapolis in the Eagledale Community, in addition Shalom has seven school based clinics which serve the students of those schools. Shalom provides a sliding fee scale that adjusts charges at the primary health care sites according to family size and income. No one is refused service because of inability to pay.

In partnership with public and private funders and sponsors, managed care entities, and individual supporters, Shalom operates two primary care clinics and 25 school-based clinics. Throughout the year, we also sponsor a number of special events designed to promote health in the community and raise awareness about Shalom and our work. Shalom Health Care Center, Inc. receives federal funding from Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
