Shepherd of the Hills preschool was established in the fall of 1985. When we 1st opened we had one 3 Year-Old and one 4 Year-Old class which gave us a total of 46 kids. Both classes had a M-W-F and a T-Th component. In September of 1986, we added a 2nd 3 year-old classroom, bringing our total number of students to 72. In September 1990, we added an Afternoon 4 Year-Old Program which ran M-T-Th afternoon which bringing our total number of students to 87.

read moreNote: Any child not picked up by 11:40am will be placed in the Cherubs Program and will be charged $15 unless arranged in advance. Our Cherubs (Faith and Fellowship) program has been a part of our Preschool program since 1996. It is an extension of your child's preschool day. Cherubs runs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week during the school year from 11:30am to 2:00 pm.

read moreWe offer two 3 year-old classes. They both follow the same basic curriculum but are split up according to birthdays. They start the year learning their colors, one color a week and in late October they begin learning shapes. In January-March they learn numbers 1-10 and throughout the year they will explore the beginning stages of the Handwriting without Tears Program. From April- June they will review all concepts presented. We will be teaching them about the structure of a classroom setting, learning how to share with friends and learning how to express their ideas and thoughts, in a loving, Christian, caring environment.
