I am Pam Scheer, founder and sole proprietor of SHOWbits Theatre Gifts. SHOWbits started in the Spring of 1997. I was producing a play at my local community theatre and trying to find a good little gift for the cast members as well as something special for the director and stage director; at the same time, I had my eye out for a gift for my daughters' dance teacher; plus the upcoming piano recital deserved a little memento. Surely I could find something fitting for all of the special people involved. Know what I found - NOTHING! That is right - nada, bupkis, zilch.

It's far easier for me to recognize local actors than Broadway ones, despite the latter's fame; I don't know about you, but I have neither the time nor budget to patronize Broadway performers with any frequency. But there are professional theaters nationwide that offer quality productions and actors, and I've been glad to be able to partake of several shows starring one dynamic duo.
