The School in a Farmhouse was established during World War II, to cover the women who went to work in the defense plants of Rochester. In 1967 Rita Barton left her career as hostess of the local Romper Room TV program to buy and redesign the school according to her vision. The main building has been efficiently adapted to understand the requirements of kids, while retaining a country ambiance. Each area has windows with views, nooks and crannies, and comfortable, well-equipped classrooms.
