Helen's entry in to domestic real estate came about while buying and rehabbing homes to resell in Georgia. Helen and her husband bought and renovated over a dozen homes prior to their retirement from Bell South and relocation back to Gainesville, which is Helen's hometown. She started her real estate career in this area as an assistant to a local real estate appraiser. In 2002, Helen gained the designation of Real Estate Professional Assistant, a designation certified by the National Association of REALTORS.
