Sombrero Mexican Food

Javier, the CEO and founder, grew up serving authentic Mexican food in the original Sombrero location, situated at Montezuma & El Cajon Boulevard, which was began by his parents. Javier worked in all kinds of the restaurant throughout his youth and into the late 1970s. After the completion of drafting school, other business ventures and starting a family of his own, Javier then decided to re-open Sombrero Mexican Food in 1984 as a quick service restaurant.
