Because my mother was in real estate and loved to sell and buy houses, I had an opportunity to attend four elementary schools in Chico. This was great because I had friends all over town. I graduated from PV High School in 1988, attended Butte College and Chico State and eventually made my way to USC.yes, I got out of town. I loved L. A. But its not Kansas. I really missed Chico, Bidwell Park, and just knowing the people in the community.
