The hospital's emergency department continues to become one of the busiest in the city. Within three months of inception, Southern Hills emergency department saw over 3, 000 patients. We now average more than 35, 000 ER visits each year. Southern Hills pioneered bedside registration and was the 1st hospital in Middle Tennessee to provide community-based angioplasty.
