Southwestern Battery Supply

In 1914 Southwestern Battery Supply Company was organized to cover the early automobile battery market in Tulsa and North-Eastern Oklahoma. Until the early 1950's our primary business was car batteries, but being situated in Tulsa, from the earliest days much of our work involved servicing the varied and several-times unusual battery requirements of the oil industry. Our close relationship with this industry altered the firm's focus from that of a typical automotive battery distributor and increasingly drew us toward the industrial battery market, which we entered in 1954.
