I developed a passion for broadcasting while attending St. Patrick H.S. in Chicago. In my freshmen year, St. Pat's received from WGN-TV, two cameras, an audio board and a TV switcher along with a number of lighting instruments. WGN was going to trash the old equipment when somebody wondered if possibly a school might want the equipment.

Our shop runs identical to a TV station where we produce broadcast content from :30 second or :60 second spots to longer commercial content like direct response content; the infamous infomercial that runs either on a repeated 15 minutes or a complete 28:30 program. We've worked with a number of various agencies and broadcast clients producing, many times from the ground up, a variety of commercial content in both English and Spanish.

read moreOur company has had some great interns throughout the years. SPI-tv Media Group offers great opportunities both in studio and out on the field. If you are interested in earning credit hours and an internship at SPI Creative contact your school administrator and let them know. You can also email us your information. This past summer we've had two great interns, Josh and Kyle. Both helped us on a summer pilot we produced and some of their duties included helping out with audio, camera set ups, general production assistance, etc.
