Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Services can help you achieve your goal of Stable and Desirable Employment. IPS is a supported employment program offered by Comprehensive Mental Health Services and sponsored by the Missouri Department of Vocational Rehabilitation to help people with severe mental illness work at regular jobs of their choosing. CMHS provides this strength-based program designed for participants to obtain Competitive Employment based on their skills, abilities and interests.

The mission of CMHS's Outpatient Program is to promote positive behavioral health through the provision of quality outpatient evaluation and treatment programs for people in our community. CMHS offers a full range of medical services for your mental health needs. Psychiatrists and Advanced Practice Nurses provide education, evaluation, medication review, and Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) in an outpatient setting and Licensed Practical Nurses can provide phone support by accessing our nurse line for questions and concerns.

read moreCrisis services represent one of the most critical and necessary treatment services CMHS offers to clients and the community. These services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Many situations can be handled over the phone, but when necessary, mobile face-to-face services are immediately available and accessible. During regular CMHS business hours, crisis calls are handled on-site by designated experienced clinical staff. After 5 p.m., CMHS clients calling the CMHS telephone line (254-3652) are asked to hang up and dial the regional phone number, 1-888-279-8188.
