Ministries
read moreSt. Basil the Great Parish offers many different opportunities for returning our gifts of time and talent to the glory of God. The Lord freely gave us all types of skills and abilities. As good and faithful stewards we are called to volunteer in a ministry or organization to pray together, share our faith with others, and enhance our Eucharistic community. The Altar Society promotes fellowship among the women of the St. Basil Parish and provides "behind the scenes" services to the parish. Our tasks include laundering and preparing altar linens, maintaining altar vessels, collecting and counting candle receipts, preparing special parish mail-outs, replacing missalettes, and other services to the church as needed.
