Dr. Minkin is certified through the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery as a Center of Excellence Surgeon. In addition, he is Board Certified in General Surgery and Advanced Laparoscopic, or Minimally Invasive Surgery. He is the Founder and Director of the Bariatric Surgery Program at Des Peres Hospital and an attending, teaching faculty surgeon for the General Surgery Residency Program. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery for the University of Kansas City, College of Health Sciences.
