read moreSt. Mary's Center is a caring non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which serves intellectually challenged members of the Louisville community. Through our day training program and athletic programs, St. Mary's Center currently serves 153 participants and maintains a strong reputation of being one of Louisville's most successful programs for our citizens with special needs. St. Mary's Center participates in the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Supports for Community Living (SCL) program. To foster a positive self image and encourage greater independence and productivity among its students.
read moreVolunteers are the lifeblood of many non-profit organizations and this holds true for St Mary's Center as well. Our volunteers assist us with many aspects of our daily operations and they play a huge role in interacting with our students. Volunteers that assist our staff each week are Charlie Wheatley, square dancing instructor; Denise Moser, yoga instructor; and Katie Greis, a girl scout working toward her gold award through volunteering in the music program.
