State Street Mansion is one of the earliest examples in Albany of a private dwelling in the Neo Classical style of architecture, which would become widely popular in the period ca. 1880 - ca. 1900. Restored in 1991 as a private questhouse, State Street Mansion is registered as an historic landmark with Historic Albany Foundation.
