Strickland Chesnutt & Lindsay

Strickland, Chesnutt & Lindsay, LLP, was established in 1974 by W. Michael Strickland who came to Winder after practicing in Jessup, Georgia, with the company of Thomas, Howard Smith. The company was initially situated across from the Barrow County Courthouse. In 1975, Samuel L. Chesnutt joined the company and on the Bicentennial, July 4, 1976, the partnership of Strickland & Chesnutt was established. In 1987, the company relocated to 76 West Candler Street, Winder, in a circa 1917 building on the Historic Register.
