We treat your event as a concert for you and your guests. Lauren, born in Ridgewood New Jersey, began her music studies at age nine and has been playing violin for fifteen years. She has studied under Professor Lee Chin Siow at the College of Charleston and Professor Oscar Ravina, of the New York Philharmonic. Mrs. Williams has performed solo recitals and in numerous chamber ensembles in New York City, Philadelphia, and Charleston, as well as throughout New Jersey.

We've been performing together since 2004 here in Charleston, before most of the other ensembles in Charleston came to be, and have extensive experience at all of its venues.

read morePrelude time can vary a bit depending on how big the wedding is and how many people are being seated. Typically it's 20-30 minutes of music so if there is anything you like from our list let us know, otherwise we can fill in the time as needed with similar selections. Having a coordinator or a designated person that can give the ensemble a clear cue/wave when the ceremony is about to start greatly helps transition from the prelude music to the first song during the ceremony as well as the other songs.

When picking songs for your ceremony or reception, feel free to mix and match as you wish to create your playlist. While many groups in town are just acoustic only, we can supply amplification for our group, to help make sure your guests can hear our acoustic sound well. Amplification depends on availability. The contemporary selections below were arranged specifically for String Trio and work well for String Duo as well.
