About Us
read moreSummit United Methodist Church began as a dream in the hearts of the community in 1837. Over the years, the original structure was replaced in 1892 and then again in 1961. In 1984, our current Educational Building was dedicated. What began as a dream in the hearts of the original congregation continues to grow in our hearts today. We invite you to come grow with us in Christ.
Worship
read moreJoin us as we come together each Sunday morning to re-center ourselves on Jesus Christ. During this time we are practicing social distancing and wearing of face masks. SInging and responsive readings are limited to the pastor and music director at this time. Our worship tends to be somewhat blended with a mix of traditional and contemporary music and liturgy. Our worship experience includes the use of multi-media as well as traditional forms of communication and expression. Worship at this time is online through live streaming through our facebook page and our church app.
