Eduardo's customer service skills are excellent! He was extremely professional and knowledgeable on what task needed to be done, which was done in a timely manner! Sunset deserves five stars!

First of all, it was Noah Butler who arrived at my door not Justin. Noah was professional and checked many things in my home: water heaters, air ducts, etc. and gave me prices on the costs for each. I had asked Sunset to send a furnace filter with the technician and Noah was not aware of this. He suggested Amazon, Ace or Home Depot. None of these places had the correct size and Sunset does but carry filters anymore. Ace gave me a name & number of a filter company and they ordered it for me. It will arrive on the 2nd working day.

Noah checked our heating system and noticed the capacitor was not reading correctly, so I had it replaced, which he accomplished during his stay. He also checked some of the heating vents for dust. We were very impressed with the level of service Sunset recently provided us for furnace maintenance and an issue with our heating. After setting up an appointment over the phone with Mary, who was very kind and quick in setting everything up, Noah arrived within a few hours. He was friendly, answered all our first-time homeowner questions, and did a thorough job checking out our furnace and diagnosing an issue with the thermostat.

He provided us a few different replacement options with different price points and was honest about the pros/cons of each of them. The price of the maintenance was waived since we purchased a new thermostat, so we really appreciate that value of service. We would definitely use Sunset again for future maintenance and HVAC needs!

Our service technician Nathan arrived on time and immediately started to service our furnace. During the service Nathan explained concerns found while running the test of the furnace. Once complete, Nathan explained clearly concerns he had found and what we needed to do to correct the concern. We also discussed what it would take to replace our 18 year old furnace. Nathan is a personable, professional and very easy to talk to.

Evy was thorough, professional, and super nice. He removed years of dog hair and spider webs from my vents. I'm very happy with the service he provided. Thank you Evy!

Bailey was very up front with issues our furnace had and recommended a new one. Jared and his partner were very professional and very efficient with the installation of the new furnace. Jared took the time show how the filter system worked. Very appreciative of their and effort. Ismael and his partner did an excellent job with the duct cleaning; very professional.

Hayden was terrific. Showed up earlier than expected (bonus) and was able to identify the issue and resolve it in no time at all. Sam was extremely knowledgeable and patient in explaining how it all worked to me and my kid. :) He made us feel welcomed and, instead of rolling his eyes at how little I knew, he made it a positive and told me it was good to learn about your house. :) Totally great service. Aside from one communication error early on in the process everything was great. The representatives who I spoke to on the phone were very pleasant. Just replaced my 29yr old AC unit and 17yr old furnace. My service tech, Shavon was Awesome! Professional, personable and knowledgeable. She spent close to 2 hrs diagnosing, suggesting options with no high pressure tactics. That was on a Saturday. Monday morning the installer was on the job as promised. Veniamin and his partner did an excellent job! The electrician as well. Great service, great company!

Austin Stanphill came and checked over our system and made a small adjustment and a new part to make sure we are running strong. This is the third time we've used Sunset and are always very pleased. We've been having intermittent problems with our 3 y.o. top-of-the-line RUUD heat pump. This time the air conditioning went out, I called on a weekend, Ryan came out first thing Monday morning, patiently researched the source of our annoying recurrent problems, even called the company, finally determined that we needed to replace our line set. Two days later installer team Jared and Gabe spent a whole day installing a new line set and new air purifier, then Jared spent the whole next day doggedly troubleshooting a surprise operating problem. Jared worked especially hard, above and beyond! Now everything is fixed, hopefully for a long time, and we are happy and satisfied customers of Sunset!

Sunset was quick to send out a technician to deal with an a/c issue when other companies I contacted would not. Our technician Ryan easily resolved our problem and identified a few issues that could be proactively addressed to prevent future a/c failure and costly repairs. I am happy to have found Sunset and would recommend them without reservation. Five stars for sure!

Shavon came out to give us an estimate on a new heat pump system. She was very knowledgeable and was able to thoroughly answer my questions. All around, a great experience

We had a new Goodman air conditioning system installed and were very pleased with the work of John and Kai. They arrived promptly on the scheduled day and worked hard all day. Both were friendly and professional. The new system is terrific and so much quieter than our old 23-year-old system, both on the inside and the outside.

Sunset installed AC to work with our pre-existing furnace a few years ago; recently the quite old furnace needed replacing and they replaced that too keeping the existing AC which was new. My technician Matt provided outstanding support. He explained every step of the process as he diagnosed my AC problem. He explained all my options - and we discussed both positive and negative aspects of each of my choices. There was no pressure. He showed respect for me as a customer and I felt he gave me a full and comprehensive assessment of my AC situation. They installed my furnace last year and had the same experience this time around. I highly recommend this company especially Thomas Marques HVAC Service Tech. Thorough smart honest and just a really nice guy in general! He even took the time to show us through a camera our furnace issue! Unfortunately we need to replace the old with a new one! He gave us a good price! And Sunset is coming back tomorrow June 29th (2023) to install a new furnace. He also went outside and cleaned our air conditioner! I was told by someone else that we don't need to clean our air conditioner, really? Anyways Thomas is your man!

The technicians informed me of their impending arrival and they showed up on schedule. They were professional and friendly. After locating the old units, they went directly to work removing them. Justin answered our questions thoroughly and pleasantly. Upon completion of installing the new HVAC system, we were informed of what to expect upon each test of the system.

We were also informed of who to call should there be any questions or problems. They respected us, our property, and cleaned up all the debris. Both technicians are a credit to Sunset Heating and Cooling.

Estimator (Rolf) understood my system requirements, and provided a reasonable quote for our project. The installation team (Jake and Vantee) were efficient, friendly and on time. Had an appointment on prior Tuesday for arrival between 1200 & 1700. Called at 1200 to get more accurate time, requesting later in window. She said she'd have tech call me. By 1630, I'd gotten no calls & called again. She contacted tech--they weren't going to make it & had rescheduled me for Wednesday without consulting me! I said I had prior appointments & was scheduled for Thursday.

I asked why I was never called, she said they were busy & "didn't have time."(excuse making) She also said the tech "couldn't find my address." (more excuse making) I again asked why the tech didn't call or Google my address. The implication was that I'd given wrong address (blame customer). She said the tech was "too busy to Google or call". Really?

Upon confirming address, they did correct address. I told person that this, was excuse making & incredibly poor service. NOLAN was the polar opposite. On time, pleasant, apologized for prior problem, great service, very communicative with lots of great advice. Totally changed my opinion about Sunset that I'd developed on Tuesday.
