Sunset Oceanfront Lodging, formerly Sunset Motel, has been a familly-run business for over seventy years. These assorted guest accommodations now include 63 lodging rooms, recreational amenities and seven beach Cottages for nightly rental. Just after the 1936 fire that devastated Bandon and destroyed their home, the Browns acquired a parcel on the bluff in West Bandon that boasted a spectacular view of the legendary Face Rock and some sea stacks. Herb and his son, Vern built two tiny duplexes side by side, each with a front unit facing the ocean that could be rented out.

Units West of Beach Loop Drive are considered "Oceanfront;" units to the East are considered "Ocean View" or "Economy." Most of our units have private ocean-viewing decks or patios.
