Susie's Deals

It's the type of rags-to-riches story that Hollywood loves. Four siblings begin a business by selling towels, knickknacks and designer blue jeans at local swap meets. More than three decades later, the merchant-minded staff heads up a 90-store family apparel chain that dominates the West Coast. Continuing to expand their fairy tale empire, the brother/sister staff is targeting the Sunbelt for further expansion. Of course, what makes it such a wonderful story is that it's fact. Stephen, David and Susie Hyman, co-founders of Susie's Deals were swap meet fixtures in the early 1970's.
