Times and production methods have changed since then, but the Swanson name still stands for Excellence in Quality and Service. Purchased by the Mann family in the 70's, Swanson Meats has expanded to be Minnesota's biggest family owned & operated meat processing and foodservice distribution firm. In addition to Swanson Meats, the Mann family operates their family farm just N of the Twin Cities.
