The City of Olathe's Grand Opening of the Lone Elm Interchange was conducted on July 1, 2010. Construction crews have removed barriers and activated the traffic signals. Traffic has begun to use the entrance and exit ramps for I-35. Please be aware that portions of Lone Elm Road and the area around the intersection of 151st Street remain as designated Work Zones. Posted speeds in those areas remain at 30 mph. Be aware of the highway workers in the area completing the project. Construction crews are continuing detail work and landscaping around the area.
