Nice Evening! Welcome to the new Tae Ryong Taekwondo website. The Tae Ryong School of Taekwondo was established in 1982 by Grand Master Yong Shin and has proudly served the communities of Thousand Oaks and Camarillo, California for the past 26 years. In March of 2008 we opened our fourth location in Simi Valley, California and our fifth location in Bakersfield, California is now celebrating its grand opening. The Korean Art of self-defense has, behind it, 100's of years of culture and tradition.

read moreThis is our "Pre-K" into the regular Taekwondo program. The Little Dragon's mission is Character Development and building a positive Teacher - Student relationship. We use the tools of kicking and punching to excite and motivate children to enjoy discipline, respect, and structure. We also introduce "achievement-based learning" by rewarding positive behavior daily. Graduating from this class indicates the child is ready to begin the journey to Black Belt! Along with self-defense techniques, Taekwondo students have daily training in Courtesy, Integrity, Self-control, Perseverence, and Indomitable Spirit.

Master Kelly Rogers (4th Degree Black Belt) began her martial arts career at the Tae Ryong Headquarters in Camarillo, CA. Through the extensive training in the martial arts and in managing the headquarters, Master Rogers is honored to have the opportunity to bring Tae Ryong to the beautiful state of Washington. Tae Ryong means constantly growing dragon and you are invited to come grow with us.
