About Us
read moreThompson Academy of Gymnastics, now "TAGS", was started in 1977 by Julia Thompson and Greg Aretz. They started with just 50 students and a handful of coaches eager to make a difference in the lives of their little gymnasts. Through hard work, long hours, and dedication to the sport, they grew the program into what it is today - a household name with over 100,000 people who can proudly proclaim, "I went to TAGS!" We currently have two locations in Minnesota - Apple Valley & Eden Prairie - with over 3,500 students ages 1 to 17 years who attend classes each week.
