One would not think that Gastonia, NC is the location of one of the finest women's clothing boutiques in the south, but I really think it is. The selection veers from classy to eclectic, the sales people are helpful, friendly, personable, and as involved as you want them to be. The prices are reasonable but not cheap, i.e. I bought a $120 dress, $180 black trousers (they stretch, but they don't look like they stretch!) that I am certain I will wear until I die, a fabulous green suede calf length jacket that will turn the plainest ensemble into fabulous ($130ish), and an indescribably shaped red top that I will wear to Christmas parties as long as I am still invited to Christmas parties.
So what I think about that is you get what you pay for, within a working woman's budget. It's the kind of place where for a stylishly reasonable price you can purchase a piece that you will love and wear for years and that you will never see replicated anywhere you go.
