Tom's Electric Company was set up in Rochester, Minnesota in 1919. The name was changed to T. E. C. Industrial. When the business was incorporated in 1967. At that time, the business was purchased by Bill and Mary Perry and Dick Hexum. The Perry's bought Dick out in 1970, and the business moved to a bigger building on the SE side of Rochester. In the early 1980's Bob and Jim Perry started working at the business. In 1995 Bob and Jim bought out their parents, venturing into the 2nd generation of the family business.
