Tenison Glen is a classic public course over and around White Rock Creek, and has been a favorite of Dallas golfers since 1924. The clubhouse provides a well supplied golf shop including rental clubs and a cafe with big screen TVs to relax after your round.

Weibring and architect Steve Wolfard, the Highlands now has five beautiful lakes, 32 sand bunkers, tiff-eagle greens, and 419 Bermuda fairways to go along with its elevation changes and groves of hardwood trees. Each hole was designed to fit the natural terrain and provide a challenge to all levels of players. Aggressive play will sometimes lead to disappointment, but consistent shot making is always rewarded.

His teaching mentors include Top 100 Teacher Rick McCord and former Head Golf Professional Walker Inman. Scott attended Mississippi State University and graduated with a Professional Golf Management Degree. He has been a PGA Member since 2000 and has been published eight times both in local and regional publications. He has taught over 39,000 golf lessons. His teaching philosophy incorporates an approach which focuses on the fundamentals from set up throughout the entire swing.

read moreThe Range at Tenison Park, constructed by the City of Dallas Parks and Recreation Department, opened in the spring of 1999. It is a state-of-the-art practice and teaching facility located adjacent to the historic Tenison Park golf courses east of downtown Dallas. This facility offers forty one practice stations and seven distinct target greens in a fairway setting surrounded by a mixture on mature native Texas trees. The Range golf shop is fully equipped to provide club fitting and will host demo days throughout the year.
