Tex Robin Custom Boots

Tex's great-grandfather immigrated to Texas from Sweden in 1870 but the family bootmaking business actually began with Tex's father. Tex began making boots when he was 10 years old in his father's shop in Throckmorton, Texas. Tex's father, W. L. Robin ( known as Tex) was a cowboy who rode in the wild W shows in the late 1930's. While competing on the rodeo circuit, W. L. Began to remodel and repair boots for the other bronc riders. After he had taken a wealth of boots apart and put them back together, W. L. Decided to make his own.
