Being a local boy, Kenny attended J. J. Pearce High School in Richardson, and then graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a BBA in Business. He was a member of the UT Longhorn Marching Band and the Longhorn Stage Ensemble. Kenny is proficient in both guitar and bass, playing both professionally since age 17. A long time friend of Stevie Ray Vaughan and devout follower of the SRV style, every year he is the Stage Manager if the annual SRV Ride & Concert.
