
Prasit Ken Khachenrum s extensive career in food and beverage started in his native Thailand at the renowned Grand Hyatt Hotel in Bangkok. Ken later joined the team of the Commodore Cruise Lines, preparing a range of cuisines in the various ship restaurants while sailing the Caribbean and perfecting his craft. He came to the US in the early 1990's, settled in the Washington, DC area, where he worked at several fine eateries. He was the Sushi Chef for Yosaku Japanese Restaurant there for few years. Ken came to the Virginia Peninsula in 2002 and opened Pattaya Thai Cuisine in Yorktown.
