Entertainer in Fort Worth, TX
The Party Machine grew speedily, and has consistently been the technology leader in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with many industry firsts. The disco craze created large demand for our service, and the Party Machine grew speedily. By 1979 the Party Machine was the area's biggest multi-op DJ service, booking 10 DJs a night, serving all of North Central Texas. Great sound was important from the outset. Our 1st speaker systems were enormous boxes made be Altec-Lansing. Dubbed The Voice of the Theater, each speaker cabinet was the size of a washing machine, had its own zip code, and required its own dolly for transport.

It seems counter-intuitive - private clubs evoke an image of being expensive - but many PM wedding clients have saved hundreds and even thousands of dollars by holding their reception at a Country Club. Unlike hotels and stand-alone banquet halls, private clubs are often not-for-profit organizations. Banquet rooms are available to members free of charge, and the only cost is for food and drink service.
About Us
read moreScott Shirley began playing as a DJ in 1975 for his own parties. When friends and party guests suggested that he "turn pro, " he started The Party Machine in 1976, with no intention of doing it for a living. He has been an active entertainer and MC and a sought-after public speaker ever since, performing at more than 2,500 events. By 1980 Scott had grown The Party Machine into the first large multi-op DJ Service in Dallas-Fort Worth, and was booking 10 DJs on Saturday nights. She told me my cousin had just finished a degree in Communications, and got a ‘good job' paying $30,000 a year, not bad for your first job back in 1980.
