The 1500's were a time of incredible change in Western Europe, including in the Christian church. At that time the Catholic Church was founded by governments as the only expression of Christian faith, but dissent was brewing. Martin Luther and his followers broke away from the Catholic Church in protest over the corruption he saw. Other reformers broke away and formed new Christian movements. One of these movements was called the Anabaptism. While Luther and his followers were pleased to have the state government establish and protect their church.

read moreWhen the Peace & Justice Academy was conceived back in 2008 it was an experiment in hope. Since opening our doors in September, 2009, the experiment has been, in our estimation, an enormous success - a success in every way except one. We have not been successful in enrolling students to the school. Based on our projected enrollment of returning students and new students who have made a commitment, we will not have the revenue necessary to further sustain the school. The Peace & Justice Academy is a fully-accredited, college preparatory high school unlike any other on earth.yet.
