Throughout the years, Macon Little Theatre has changed and transformed to understand the community's demand. After having standing room only in audiences for years, MLT expanded its seating capacity to accommodate the growing audiences for each season. MLT's house now has 395 seats, 1st-rate acoustics and a huge stage. In addition to meeting the theatre's requirements, MLT is often used by other community groups for lectures, mini-concerts, recitals and organizational meetings.

The theme for this production is relationships: the sweet, the sour, the new, the old, and the importance of love. The production will have a premiere broadcast February 12th at 7:00 pm, but tickets are valid to view the show at any time from the initial broadcast until "closing night" of February 28th. This gives you complete freedom to pause and start or split up your viewing in any way you want! As a special treat for Valentine's weekend, we are offering very limited treats baskets.

read moreJP Haynie joined our theatre in December of 2019, and we are incredibly happy to have him leading the theatre. With an MFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Florida, a BA in Theatre from Mercer Universityand a graduate of Stratford Academy, JP is returning to Macon, GA after a decade of work as a theatre and film professional in New York City. JP grew up on the stages of middle Georgia, and literally lived in Macon Little Theatrefor a few years when his father Phil Haynie was the Artistic Director in the 1980s.
