A-1 Thompson Driving School was established in 1953 by Cleo and T. J. Thompson and has been a family business for 3 generations. We're committed to delivering a safe and non-threatening environment for our students, with patient and friendly instructors, making it easy and fun to learn to drive. We aim to make sure that our graduates are the finest drivers that they can be. Gaining to drive from someone who incorporates current defensive driving techniques in their instruction can significantly reduce the chances of being involved in a motor vehicle crash.

Behind-the-Wheel Training is a one-on-one program in which participants learn to apply safe-driving techniques under the monitoring and supervision of an instructor. This hands-on training course can be taken as an extension of our classroom course or as a separate training program.
