We also provide a number of translated forms and handouts in other languages. Let a staff member know if you need an interpreter or help reading a form. Family Health Centers provides Refugee Health Assessments for Louisville's newly arrived refugees. For many clients, this exam is the entry into health care in the United States. These new and diverse members of our community often times go on to seek primary care from FHC-Americana and other Family Health Center sites.

read moreMedication Assisted Treatment (MAT) can help you recover from opioid or alcohol addiction. Our program combines medicine with counseling services. Together this can help reduce cravings and make it easier for you to stay sober. Our programcombines medical services, medicine, and mental health services to help our patients in their recovery. Patients requesting help may be prescribed a once-a-month shot* or a daily pill**. This medicine can help reduce cravings and prevent relapse. Medication Assisted Treatment is available as part of the medical services to Family Health Center medical patients.
