In April, 1907, back in the days when Pomona was still in the village stage, Mr. Walter B. Todd established the company known today as Todd Memorial Chapel. He was impressed by the hospitality and friendless of Pomona's citizens, by the opportunities Pomona afforded those who sincerely wanted to become a part of the community and grow and prosper with the town. It was his desire to create an institution which would reflect the atmosphere of kindliness and understanding of the community in which it was situated, and through helpful, neighborly service, became a credit to that community.

For five generations now, Todd Memorial Chapel has been dedicated to serving the needs of all faiths and serving all cemeteries. With our Pomona and Claremont Chapels available we are able to assist with the burial, entombment, cremation or out of state transportation of your families loved one. Based on the guidelines of local public health officials, limiting both public and private gatherings, all funeral services, vigils, visitations and viewings are limited to a maximum of 10 people only.

We offer a wide variety of options for the funeral ceremony, wheather the disposition be burial or cremation. The services may be as simple or as detailed as you would like and can be personalized in many different ways. A traditional funeral usually involves having a visitation or viewing at the funeral home the evening prior to the funeral ceremony. The funeral ceremony could be held either in one of our chapels or at the family's church, followed by the burial.
