His mother is a registered nurse and his father a cement contractor. Todd's earliest job was working the summers with his dad, then starting his own lawn business at the age of 12. This experience taught Todd the importance of client service and understanding the client's concerns. When Todd graduated from Pioneer High School he began his painting career as a way to aid pay for his tuition at Eastern Michigan University.
