DO NOT HIRE

I wouldn't recommend TODD COTE to my worst enemy!

We hired Todd in July 2024 for an 8 week project to be completed by September 1st 2024, to build a foundation, grade the land, add a septic, loam and seed, and connect the utilities into the existing system on the property. After 11 MONTHS we had enough. He agreed to finish the loam and seed by the end of May 2025, the guy didn't even show up until June 3rd 2025. I went out and greeted him and told him I was “excited he was here and asked him the same question all home owners ask “what's the time line" To which he lost his mind and started getting very aggressive asking “where is all this contention coming from“ it comes from you saying that you'll be here to work on a Monday and showing up just to drop your machines off to not reappear for 6 weeks! It took everything in my human power to not make this dude eat his teeth but I was an adult about it and let him bitch and moan for several minutes before I walked away. After firing him we have found out through a trusted friend that there's at least $20k worth of rework that needs to be done, just to get us to a live able point. Example: our buried propane tanks would've been completely exposed due to bad grade and improper usage of soil, just from it raining within a year. Our “drip edge" if you can call it that was 4 inches wide and filled with the smallest pebbles you can buy, ergo our 30 year siding would've been gone within 5 years from back splash. The yard grade was wrong. The septic system just stinks and makes our whole yard and house stink like crap. Our basement walkout slider doesn't work because it was incorrectly installed. The drainage system for the yard is so deep that there's no reason to even have it because it won't do ANYTHING!!!! And this is all from hiring TODD COTE. %1000000000 do not hire him he has big fancy machines, and an even bigger ego, and no clue what to do with either.
