Great experience so far! I submitted a request for a quote online and got a call very soon after. The process was explained very clearly. Brad installed our system and did a good job with the equipment and teaching us how to use it.

We had our old alarm system replaced by True Protection. Brad, our technician is fantastic! So knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. He makes sure you completely understand the system, he will go the extra mile. He even gave is cell phone number to reach out to him direct. I texted him a question about a week after the install he texted me right back with the answer within 15 mins.

I texted him again with a question about how to work the app and asked him if he could call me. He called me the same day, explained what I needed, just a kind and patient as the day he came to the house. He is a rare jewel in the customer service world of today.

I had a friend sign with true protection from ADT and she was raving of the service. I called and was absolutely pleased. Our installation was quick and thorough and Sean the installer was nice, courteous and detailed with teaching! The equipment I got is an absolute jump from my ADT equipment and options I had!

Our technician was really professional and did a great job. He thoroughly showed us how to set up and use all the different features. We previously had ADT for six years and are completely amazed with the technology offered by true protection. Wish we had found this sooner. We highly recommend.

I have a security surveillance camera system with DVR that was installed by True Protection. I recently changed out my wireless router that supports this system and I started having problems with being able to remotely view my cameras from my smartphone while at home or away. I contacted True Protection and spoke to Rene who scheduled to have a Sean, one of their IT technicians contact me to address the issue. Sean promptly contacted me and reviewed the issue with me.

He said that we would need to reconfigure the port and IP address information in the camera system in order for me to preview camera footage on my smartphone. He took remotely diagnosed and resolved the problem with no issues. The only issue that he was not able to resolve was in the advanced settings of my new router, there was an issue with port forwarding which needed to be open by my internet provider before we could be totally successful.

I contacted my internet provider and addressed the problem. They informed that I would need an Static IP address in order to view cameras from my smartphone. They recently switched to a carrier grade NAT because of security issues. This was the reason a Static IP address is needed. In short, Sean, the technician representing True Protection did a fantastic job quickly diagnosing the issue, reconfiguring my camera system, and recommending I contact my internet provider to incorporate a Static IP address for the system. Sean throughout the process was professional, very knowledgeable about his business, and unbelievably courteous.

Equipment works great -- it's been a week since the install and systems are still up and running. Initially, I had a complaint about the service -- one of the technicians was a few hours late, and missed a piece of equipment. The office manager scheduled another technician the same week to fix the issue. The second technician did a great job -- on time, resolved the issue, also a very friendly guy.

In addition, I received a call from Matt about my complaint. He addressed my concerns, apologized for the inconvenience, and made it right. It's certainly refreshing to know True Protection values my business. Overall, I'd recommend to friends.

Our home is in the Frio Canyon & as I called around to San Antonio companies for service, the distance seemed to be a challenge, or additional charge for most of them, but not Brett with True Protection. In our conversation, Brett was able to pinpoint exactly what we needed in our home for peace of mind and did not try and sell us equipment we did not need.and also took his time to explain his recommendations which is a critical component of service.

Easy decision to go with True Protection and Brett was available to visit for additional questions along the way. Our Installation Tech Ivan was very knowledgeable and as always with tech, we hit a hurdle, but with his expertise, he diagnosed it, finished installing our system, walked me though it and it's been working perfectly via our smart phones.
