Tulsa Boy Singers

In 1948, George Oscar Bowen, together with his wife Dorothy, established the Tulsa Boy Singers who performed publicly for the 1st time in the spring of 1949. Mr. Bowen enjoyed a long and successful career in musical education, retiring from Tulsa Public Schools at the age of 73. The Bowen's strong dedication to choral music education made the Tulsa Boy Singers a large success throughout Oklahoma.
