Turtle Creek Valley MH/MR. Was incorporated at a non-profit 501 C3 through a Model Cities Grant for the goal of delivering mental retardation services within the Turtle Creek Valley. A federal grant in 1980 founded the organization as a community mental health center and services extended to include outpatient, partial hospitalization, domestic services and case management. Through the grant funding, families and individuals could receive mental health services regardless of their capability to pay.
