The Ukrainian Power video series is endorsed by parents, educators as well as The Ukrainian Education Council of New York and the Foundation for Ukrainian Science and Education of New Jersey. The Ukrainian Educational Council, Shkilna Rada, coordinates the activities of the Ukrainian Saturday School System throughout the US. It has founded a close working relationship with Ukraine's Ministry of Education. FUSE is a non-profit organization which is committed to serve and grant opportunities for the advancement of science and education in Ukraine.

Ukrainian Power also wants to instill pride in children for their culture. Company president, Olga Halaburda, created the Ukrainian Power series to provide her then-preschool aged nieces, Natalie and Emily, access to professionally produced Ukrainian language videos. Her nieces are now grown. In 2009, inspired by the birth of her first son, Maksym, Halaburda launched the Baby Ukrainian Power line which includes a simple see-and-say DVD program and corresponding set of flash cards.
