Umar

Established in 1983, UMAR's goal is to promote community inclusion, independence and growth for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through domestic, employment and cultural enrichment opportunities. UMAR is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and an agency and ministry of the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. Our 23 group homes and 6 apartments allow individuals to experience independent living in a home-like atmosphere.
